Booking & Cancellation Policy
All services booked at Mt Stirling Farm & Cottages are subject to the following policies.
As a small boutique accommodation business, late cancellations often result in an empty cottage which has a significant impact on our small business. We appreciate you providing the longest period of time in advising cancellation to allow us time to rebook.
Booking Terms
•The quickest and easiest way to book your stay with us is by booking direct online via our Contact Us page. You will get the best available rate and a response within 24 hours. Online bookings require full payment within 24 hours of your booking being confirmed.
•A reservation can also be made via direct email hello@mtstirlingfarm.com.au. Full payment is required within 24 hours of your booking being confirmed.
•We accept Mastercard, Visa and Amex, or via bank transfer.
Cancellations (FIRM)
•To receive a full refund, guests must cancel at least 30 days before check-in.
•If you cancel between 7 and 30 days before check-in, you will be charged 50% for all nights.
•If you cancel less than 7 days before check-in, you will be charged 100% for all nights.
•You will receive a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours of booking, if the cancellation occurs at least 14 days before check-in.
As a small business the more notice given is appreciated to allow us a chance to rebook. The guest will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel after 10am two days prior to arrival.
•If any fees, service charges or commissions are charged from other booking sites or third party from where the guest made the reservation, these fees/ charges will be paid by you the guest.
Minimum Stay Booking Policy
•A minimum 2-night stay is required mid week and weekends.
•A minimum 3-night stay is required over the Easter weekend.
Check In and Check Out
•Check in time is anytime from 3.00pm. We will either email you with a code for a key safe to access your key to your cottage usually on the morning of your arrival. Early check-in by pre approval only.
•Check out time is by 11.00am.
Children
•Children are welcome.
•Please note some of our cottages are in close proximity to a dam. Therefore, toddlers and children must be supervised at all times, and Mt Stirling Farm & Cottages cannot be held liable for any incidents or accidents. We do not accept any responsibility.
Pets
•Pets are welcome.
•Strictly one pet allowed per cottage.
•Small pets only please, medium to large pets by pre-arrangement only.
•Pets are strictly not allowed on beds, linen, lounge and soft furnishings.
•Any damage to our cottages due to pets will be at the expense of the guest.
No Smoking Policy
•The cottages are non smoking only.
•Smoking permitted outside only. Any traces of residual smoke inside will incur a cleaning charge of $100. Any additional costs of cleaning soft furnishings may be added if deemed necessary by management.
Excess cleaning
• It is the guests’ responsibility on departure to leave the cottage tidy and in a respectable condition. Your cottage is prepared with meticulous attention to detail. We ask you to treat our property with care and show respect for our guest services staff.
Damages
• Any breakages or damages to goods and property is the guests’ responsibility to pay for on departure.
Lost Key Policy
•$20 charge will apply if keys are lost.
Extra Occupancy
•Mt Stirling Farm & Cottages is a private property. The use of the grounds and accommodation is for the number of booked and paying guests only.
Behaviour and Noise Policy
•Mt Stirling Farm & Cottages has a No Party policy. Unreasonable noise will not be tolerated after 10.00pm. We reserve the right to request people who are making too much noise at any time of the day or night to leave. No refunds will be applicable.
•Please be considerate to your neighbours
Water Consumption
•Please be aware of your water usage as both water and sewage are off grid.
•Do not flush anything down the toilet other than toilet paper or natural waste. If a blockage occurs that requires a plumber, charges will be passed on.
